Japan Virtual Airlines was founded in March of 2020 by the current Chairman & CEO, Patrick Novoa. JVA was certified by the Infinite Flight Virtual Alliance Regulatory Board (IFVARB) in April 2020 and commenced operations shortly after. Sadly, JVA didn't launch as expected and quickly went inactive. JVA temporarily halted operations in August of 2020. With many lessons learned after two months, Patrick decided to re-structure the entire VA from the ground up. With a re-launch date of February 2021, Patrick worked hard on re-designing the JVA website, crew center, communications platform, IFC thread, routes, codeshares, and more. After working diligently for eight months, the new Japan Virtual Airlines was born. We now proud ourselves on being one of the most well organized VAs within the Infinite Flight Community. Although Japan Virtual's story may not be perfect, one thing is for sure, the airline has gone through a lot and there is definitely a bright future ahead.
